If you have straight hair how can you get it to be curly/wavy but not to much curl??

Ok i just washed my hair and I want to be able to get my hair curly and sorta wavy but i dont want too many curls! What can i do? I have mousse, gel, brush, comb, ponytails holders, straightning iron, curling iron, and bobby pins. Any ideas that wont take me 2 hours?

if you can get a crimper with wide set crimp lines- use it, otherwise while your hair is wet put a bit of gel and or mouse in it- comb it in- and braid it in tight pigtails or put it in buns. it'll dry wavy.

same problem! sleep with loose braids in. my hair has no wave but it looks great whenever i do this

curl it or scrunch it.

heres something i do when i want my hair to be wavy:

when my hair is wet, i put mousse in it and put it into two braids and take them out in an hour or so. Then I put hairspray in it.

It alwasy looks good.
