I can only think of two ways to get the big curl wavy style, it really depends on your hair type, curly or straight. If your hair is naturally straight, then:

First option:

When your hair is wet, apply mousse or gel (if you use gel don't use the kind that gets real stiff) using a big round brush, section your hair into sections and blow dry around the brush, creating waves.

But to me option 2 is easier:

With your hair dry, use a big barrel curiling brush (electric kind) and put waves and curls where you want them. But still use mousse or gel when your hair is wet.

When I was a teenager, conair put out a big barrel curling brush/iron combo that dried your hair at the same time, it was awesome, but I couldn't tell you whether they still make it.

first you need to straighten your hair compleatly then get some angel curlers or use your straighteners to wrap sections of the hair round hold in place and then release.

if the curl looks little tight try running your fingers through it to loosen.

you also might want to try drying your hair with a barrel brush then when your done try a big curling iron and finish with hairspray. hope this helps you.
