have VERY curly hair and it took me a while to figure out how to straighten it, but i will pass on what i have learned. First of all if you want to wear it straight a lot, then you should grow it a little, bc the shorter it gets, the kinkier it is. Use super slick shampoo, or super skinny, flatten out, anything with that in the title. Doesn't really matter what brand. I use whatever brand is on sale, most of them are about the same. Then use the conditioner of the same kind. That will temporarily shrink the hair follicle, and cause the strands to lay flatter. Then use a serum after you towel dry on damp hair. I use frizz-ease but any kind of sealer or serum for straightening hair will work. Just don't put too much or your hair will be greasy. Then blow dry with a round brush applying pressure and pulling out and down, away from your face. It will still be wavy or curly, and maybe frizzy, but don't worry. The key is the straightener. Separate your hair in sections with clips ( three is usually best, top middle, and nape). Then take small sections out of each and straighten them. The brand doesn;t matter too much as long as it has copper looking irons. Don't use steam straighteners, they just kink your hair back up. Hope it helps and let me know how it goes!

i have very curly thick hair and when i want 2 take the time to staighten it i use a little mouse and a flat iron it works great!

Well, i have natrual curly hair and very thick.

i just either air dry my hair after showering or blowdry with a good brush.

then i use a chi product on each layer of my hair.

and i use the chi ceramic flat iron.

you should def. get a product(can get anywhere like walmart, walgreens ext.) before you straighten thats how you get damaged hair expecialy if you have wavy frizzy hair.

I would reccommed a Sedu straightner. Its one of the best you should also use heat proctectant and you could also you a special shampoo conditioner and serum that offers straight sleek hair.
