Mine's the opposite, it was thick and ringlet curly when I was at school, these days its so thin and almost poker straight. No idea what happened and my mum's got afro hair!

Hair does change as you age. Mine went from straight blonde to wavy brown. My whole family has straight black hair - so who knows? But you and I are the luckier ones - because we can straighten our hair if we want, and it holds styles better. :)

maybe your hair changed over adolescence.. or if you get a new haircut. when my hair is long it is pretty straight, but when it is at my ear length, it is wild and wavy... but maybe its just changing as you are changing?

Are you a teenager? Puberty changes not only your body and skin but hair. Look how many "toe head" blond young children there are that get much darker after puberty. Your hair will also change again if you have a baby and when you go through menopause. (All due to hormones.)
