Buy some mouse, and apply to wet hair. As it dries, twist it roundyour fingers in sections.

Other options: get a perm or sleep in curling rolls. Perms a bit permenant, and having done it, i wouldnt recomend, especially if your hair is quite dry. Sleeping in rolls works if you wash your hair first, and then apply mouse to keep it in place, but it takes a while to do.

You could buy a good set of curling tongs and try that, they come in different barrel sizes, so you can get the style you want. Depends how long and thick your hair is, but to do it quickly and not salon perfect takes about 30 mins.
